Lake Conway Fishing Reports
Here is our fishing report for the Lake
Conway Chain in Orlando. This chain is in south Orlando near the
Orlando International Airport. Nestled in a residential area,
just minutes from Disney and Sea World, it offers some excellent
opportunities to catch a lot of fish.
We catch a great deal of Crappie in the winter,
and Largemouth bass year round. Check our reports for this

Fishing Reports For Lake Conway
Winter 2007 Bass fishing on Lake Conway and the Conway Chain of Lakes is
hot right now. We are averaging between 30 to 40 fish on this chain with the
average bass weighing between 1.5 to 2.5 pounds. Bigger fish coming in
between 6 to 8 pounds and several being caught coming in over 11 pounds in
the last three weeks. Crappie Fishing is doing great in water
around 12 feet on some days and in close to deep docks and grass on others. Some
of the crappie we are catching on this chain of lakes is pushing 3.5 pounds.
There are some monster crappie in here.
Live bait does account for the majority of
fish being caught right now however, early morning there is a great
opportunity for some excellent bass on a fly rod, or throwing artificial.
The bass are schooling early, and are easy to catch on lures and flies.
