 Have you ever found yourself wondering about the weight of a fish you released? If you measured the Length and Girth of your fish, now you can get the approximate weight using this calculator. According to IGFA, this math formula will give you the weight within about .8 ounces.

***      An extra tip for you, if you are out on the water and find yourself with no tape measure, use fishing line for length, and girth and make sure you remember which is which. Another thing you can do is go to Wal-Mart in the sewing department and get a rolled up tape for just a couple bucks and it will fit in any tackle box easily.
